The Mactavish team is all set for Airmic 2015 which takes place at The ACC in Liverpool between 15th and 17th June. The Airmic Conference has become the most important event in the calendar for the insurance and risk management industry and that is why Mactavish will be there.

Come and talk to our insurance and claims governance team on Stand 102 while you are at Airmic. Lots of the team will be there – Bruce Hepburn, our CEO; David Hertzell, the former Law Commissioner and our Special Adviser; Patrick Percepied, our Commercial Director, Mary McGuirke, our Finance Director and COO and finally, Tom Miskin, one of our Senior Analysts.

We will also be hosting and co-presenting one of the series of seminar presentations while at Airmic with PwC. The PwC/Mactavish seminar (S3) will cover key aspects of ‘Identifying and Managing business critical insurances’. While some insurances are optional, others underpin the operation of the business and should these latter insurances fail, serious consequences in terms of cash flow, rating and financial covenants can ensue. PwC and Mactavish will be discussing key metrics to help identify these insurances and will highlight the steps Airmic members should take to ensure they work as expected.

We have a busy schedule of meetings while at Airmic meeting clients and media alike. Do get in touch with us via Tom Miskin at  if you would like to set up a meeting with Mactavish team members. Or, simply just turn up on Stand 102. We would love to see you. Also, don’t forget to follow all our activity on Twitter – check out @MactavishGroup for the latest updates.

Another reason to visit our Mactavish stand at Airmic is the fact that we will be giving away our free Guide to the Insurance Act 2015 which was just launched in May at BIBA. We are also launching a further brand new free guidance note ‘Designing and Driving best-in-class Buying Practices’ while at Airmic which details a seven-point Mactavish Protocol for optimising compliance with the Insurance Act 2015. You won’t want to miss it! Another reason to come along to our Stand for a detailed discussion about Insurance Act implications with our expert Insurance Governance team.
