Michel Yarhi

Michel Yarhi is the former head of the insurance risk management at Société Générale where he served for 31 years. In his role at Société Générale Michel transformed the insurance management of the group into a profit center. His activities included all insurance risk management and the purchase of coverage as well as being involved in auditing the insurance arrangement of major French industrial clients and being the Chairman of its internal brokerage unit. In addition Michel served as Vice-President of a reinsurance company.
Michel joined Société Générale after a Junior Doctorate in Law and a first career at two insurance companies eventually being responsible during 2 years for a claims department.
Michel is the former President of AMRAE (the French Risk Management Association with 350 companies and over 600 individuals as members).
Michel also serves as Chief Executive of CEFAREA (French Arbitration Centre Reinsurance and Insurance) and is the former Chairman of EFIRM (European Financial Institutions’ Risk Managers, regrouping 18 of the largest European banks).
Jérome Nollet

Jérome is a corporate finance advisor working in risk and capital management for financial institutions. His experience combines insurance and reinsurance, treasury, corporate finance, risk management and M&A advisory. Jérome first gained insurance experience working for seven years at AIG in both the US and in Europe. After AIG he worked for six years at Morgan Stanley, in the securities division with a focus on complex trading strategies, hedging in the context of M&A transactions and heading the Debt Optimisation Advisory team. He then worked for two years at Chase-JP Morgan in M&A and corporate finance with a regional origination responsibility, followed by two years at Swiss Re (Managing Director, Head of the UK Insurance Practice, Risk Solutions, including responsibility for key global insurance clients).
Jérome serves on the Board for Actuarial Standards of the Financial Reporting Council, the UK’s independent regulator for corporate reporting and governance and on the International Committee of the Insurance Institute of London. Jérome holds a MS in Economics at Paris-Nanterre University followed by two years of econometric modelling work and a MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of Business.
Steve Hacking

Steve graduated from Cambridge University with a first class honours degree in Engineering, later obtaining a distinction in his MSc in engineering hydrology from Imperial College of Science, Technology & Medicine, University of London. He trained and worked as a consulting engineer with Mott MacDonald, and then as a strategy consultant with AT Kearney prior to joining the Kalchas Group.
Steve obtained a MBA with distinction at Insead in France. Steve is a specialist in private equity due diligence having worked in the field for over ten years.
