Yell Group PLC is a publisher of classified advertising directories in the United Kingdom, the United States, Spain and Latin America. Printed directories include its Yellow Pages and Business Pages directories in the United Kingdom, Yellow Book directories in the United States, Paginas Amarillas in Spain and directories in Latin America. Other products and services mainly comprise Yell.com and Yellowbook.com, and YellowPages 118247.
When Mactavish first approached Yell Group they had recently been divested from BT. Mactavish managed to assist Yell in several areas where they were looking to improve their insurance programme. These included:
- Creating competition for their Publishers Indemnity cover
- Offering solutions to a particular property issue relating to IT
- Improving two key carriers’ understanding of the business and risks associated with it
